    We are looking for someone to liaise with chapter coordinators around the world and support them in developing their local groups.

Project Leader

Lead a project that will facilitate an exchange of ideas about health and health-related research between the Romanian community at home and Romanians located outside the country with a special focus on North America and Europe.

Position description: 

a) General responsibilities

General Role
The project leader is responsible for ensuring the completion of the GRSPSociety working group project. Thus, while enjoying active help and feedback from the working group chair and members of the GRSPSociety board, the project leader will be the person responsible for determining the overall project strategy and coordinating the activity of the project team.

Responsibilities:
Lead the planning of the project:
· Define the project scope, goals and deliverables
· Define project tasks and the job descriptions of the project team
· Define resource requirements (budget, support from partner organizations, etc.)
· Plan project timelines

Lead the implementation of the project:
· Coordinate project activity by providing direction and support to the project team
· Manage project budget
· Track project deliverables
· Monitor and report on the progress of the project to the GRSPSociety board
· Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
· Evaluate the project and assess its results

b) Specific responsbilities

· Compile list with medical professionals and researchers in the North America or Europe who are willing to participate in the program / talks
· Identify and contact institutions in Romania that would be willing to host and promote such events
· Coordinate seminars and presentations
· Research sponsorship opportunities

Requirements
- Relevant professional/academic experience or genuine interest in the project field
- Ability to commit an average of 4 hours per week to project leader responsibilities
- Interest in GRSPSociety scope and activities at large
